And the Worst Video of the Year Goes to…. Drake?

We're really sorry Drake, we love ya but we hope "This is the Worst You Ever Have"...lol

We're really sorry Drake, we love ya but we hope "This is the Worst You Ever Have"...lol

Well it really  hurts us to say this especially with half of the year remaining  but the worst video of the year goes to (drum roll please) DRAKE? Yes  its sad but true the rising rap/r&b artist comes in as the worst video of this year. Drake’s 1st video for hit song “Best I Ever Had” produced by Kanye West was way off.

Now we love Drake and feel he may be the future of hip hop and we love Kanye but this video was HORRIBLE! We expected FIRE when a artist like Drake and Kanye team up and were sadly let down. 1st the video doesnt match the song. Granted Drake is more of a hip hop artist but this song seemed a bit more intimate than what the video portrayed. The video starts out with several well endowed women bouncing up and down on a basketball court and then its all down hill from there. The setting of the whole video takes place on a basketball court and has Drake as  the coach of his “Team Drake” b-ball team all wearing booty shorts and tight extremely revealing tank tops (most of which men won’t mind).  You know what I can’t describe this anymore  you just have to see it for yourself (Watch video below). Comment and let us know if we’re off base by saying that this video is bad in the comment section below.

Again before watching, we are big Drake and Kanye West fans and feel that these 2 can very well be among the industry’s elite artists, but this video just didn’t do it for us. We’ll be looking to get them in for a interview to see if we were missing the concept.

ATLANTA — R&B singer Usher filed for divorce Friday from Tameka Foster Raymond, less than two years after their glitzy wedding at a Georgia resort.

The 30-year-old Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, filed the petition in Superior Court in Atlanta. Records posted to the court’s Web site did not give any details about the split between the R&B star and his wife, who were married in August 2007.

About 200 people attended the wedding between the two at resort built in the style of a 16th-century-style French chateau on 3,500 hilly acres outside Atlanta.

They have two young sons, 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. His wife has three children from a previous marriage.

E-mail and telephone messages to Usher’s publicist were not immediately returned.

In a May 2008 interview with The Associated Press, Usher addressed negative feedback from bloggers over his relationship with his wife, who’s 8 years older than him and was once his stylist.

“People are so attracted to drama. That’s easier to take than a story of righteousness,” Usher said at the time.

“I decided to marry this woman, then I decide to be a father to my child,” he said. “… It’s not like I got caught with a gram of coke in my car or speeding or was caught for murder, so why would I be ridiculed, that’s why I don’t understand _ that’s the part that is mind boggling. Why would I be ridiculed for that, even a year later.”

Prior to the marriage, Usher had a string of public romances, most notably his three-year relationship with Chilli from TLC.

His hits include “Confessions,” “Burn,” “You Make Me Wanna” and “Yeah!”

I’m Not a Businessman, I’m a Business MAN! Jay-Z Buys Out of Def Jam

Jay-Z bye

Hip Hop mogul Jay-Z has reportedly bought his way out of album obligations with Def Jam records.Jay-Z had one contractual album left with the label, presumably the “Blue Print 3″ release. However, it appears as if Jay is ready to move on and will allegedly be releasing the highly anticipated LP via his Live Nation partnership, Roc Nation, the 360 deal he signed with Live Nation

Speaking to RapRadar.com, Jay confirms the move which allegedly ran him about $5 Million.

“I can honestly say, working with Doug Morris and LA Reid has been a unique and fulfilling experience and I respect them immensely.  I’ve been in the family for almost my entire career.

Doug and I spoke directly and had one of the most unique “negotiations” ever.Doug won the toss but, we both won in the end..

I thank him for allowing me to be a completely independent artist. Not every artist can say they own or are given the opportunity to own all of their music.”

With Blueprint 3 bound to Roc instead of Def Jam, we may finally get some news about the album in the coming months. Jigga started working on the album with Kanye West in 2008 following the release of American Gangster, and the LP was originally on Def Jam’s release schedule for Winter ‘08 before completely disappearing off the map. Songs like the Oasis-inspired “Jockin’ Jay-Z,” the Santigold-sampling “Brooklyn Go Hard” and the hit “Swagga Like Us” were all reportedly destined for Blueprint 3 before the album’s delay. This may come as yet another blow to Def Jam as the struggling label may soon be slammed with a lawsuit by it’s former co-founder, Russell Simmons.

This sounds like a risky business move for Hov. In this market, we’re not sure that any album he’d put out in the world would be worth $5 million. But we’ve learned in the past not to bet AGAINST Jigga – he always seems to come up on top.

Spencer Pratt: ‘I’m The White Jay-Z’

prattAre you grossed out over that title too?

Spencer Pratt how dare you! His recently released single “I’m a Celebrity,” is most likely a publicity stunt for his upcoming ABC reality show “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.”  Pratt released this gem on the Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, and announced that his new stage name is “The Great White.”

“I’ve always known that I secretly am the hottest rapper in the game,” he told MTV News. “But I didn’t feel the urge until Asher Roth started hitting the airwaves and – no offense to Asher Roth – somebody with some real swagger needed to come into the game. So, I’ll challenge him. I’ll challenge him to a freestyle or whatever.”

He went on to add, “I’m the white Jay-Z in the game. I’m doing the baller thing. I’m more for the streets.”

But let me give you a sample of his lyrical skills from his new single:

Baby I’m on TV. I’m on the Internet
Been around the world and still I’m not finished yet
I’m a celebrity. Get me out of here. Get me out of here. Get me out of here.

First Tweet of the day I throw my swag on
Louis rag on. Car with the new tags on
You know how the swag goes. Bentleys and Lambos.

(the rest is just not worth the time to type out)

The Great White went on to say that the only MC he is ‘feeling in the game right now’ is Soulja Boy and Gucci Mane…. Enough said.

Day of Reckoning: T.I. Sentenced; Set to Enter Jail May 19 (Video)

Video from T.I’s Press Conference

ATLANTA — At around 9:30 am this morning, Rapper Clifford Harris aka “T.I.,” entered the 23rd floor court room of the Richard B. Russel Federal Courthouse to appear before Judge Charles Parnell Jr. T.I., who was charged with possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon, was in good spirits as he entered the court room prepared for his sentencing. Since his arrest T.I. has been chronicling his countdown to prison with a MTV documentary called “T.I.’s Road to Redemption.”  T.I. had previously worked out a plea deal that cut down his jail time significantly.

Friends, family, and fans lined the courtroom to see if his plea deal would be accepted and to see him off. Wearing a charcoal gray suit as he entered, T.I. smiled  at a few friends and fans as he greeted his lawyers. T.I. was quiet for the most part as the plea was honored and T.I. was to start serving his prison time effective immediately. Under the plea agreement, made last March, T.I. agreed that  if he completed 1,000 hours of community service before sentencing, paid a $100,000 fine and agreed to  another 500 hours of community service upon completion of his sentence, his sentence would be diminished to a year and a day in prison. The reason for the extra day instead of 1 year is because if he was to be sentenced to 1 year exactly, by law all sentences up to 1 year must be completed in its entirety. By adding on the extra day, T.I is allowed to have his sentence reduced for good behavior if he complies with all terms.

“It brings me great pleasure and honor to say to you today that I have
begun to close this chapter in my life with, of course, the help and
blessings of the U.S. attorneys and the courts of the U.S. government.”

T.I. delivered what appeared to be a thoughtful and genuine 10-minute speech before his sentencing was announced. In his remarks, he brought up several of his personal contradictions, including his misguided youth and excellent education, his wish to bear arms legally and his inability to do so, and his sorrow at seeing his best friend die in his arms to which in some extent he claimed added to his mischief behavior after. He had many friends speak on his behalf including former UN Ambassador Andrew Young who had nothing but glowing things to say in his defense. Even the Judge seemed taken back in having to deliver a sentence to T.I. even going as far as saying, “I’m resistant to the lockup mentality, I hope this sentencing leads to other experiments that will protect the community and show a respect for the law.” He also told the rapper he had more than exceeded the court’s expectations and with that T.I. delivered his closing line saying:

“This has been the most insightful moment in my life… I’ve taken the great lesson from it and I will use it in my life. With that, I bid you adieu.”

Tip is scheduled to report to prison voluntarily within the next six to
eight weeks. However, the judge acknowledged that the rapper has
agreed-upon commitments that will not allow him to enter prison before
May 19.

MTV says that T.I. has recorded his last episode of “T.I.’s Road to Redemption” which he has titled it,”The Reckoning,” where he gives his thoughts on his jail sentence as well as thoughtful words to fans to air this Tuesday March 31st @ 9pm.

We’d like to add a personal note to this story by wishing T.I. well and hoping to see him back home soon. You will be missed but we know we’ll see you smiling for the flashing lights when you get out. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s how you react and learn from them that determines your true character. God Bless!

Rihanna and Chris Brown Part Ways

rihanna-chris-brown-300x284

Rihanna has broken off her relationship with the sweet-sounding R & B singer Chris Brown, according our friends at Mediatakeout.com.

An insider–speaking to MediaTakeOut.com on the condition of anonymity–explained that Rihanna presented Chris with an ultimatum: end all contact with manager and mystery women Tina Davis, or lose Rihanna for good.

“Rihanna will not take him back, especially if there is still any kind of relationship between him [Brown] and Tina Davis – personal or professional!” the insider explained.  ”But he is not prepared to fire her, and [so he] lost Rihanna.”

Another insider told MediaTakeOut.com, “[Rihanna] left Los Angeles to clear her head … and get him out of her mind.”

But while Rihanna seems to be moving past the incident, Chris is reportedly falling into a deep depression. A person close to Chris’ camp explains, “Initially he was confident that he’d get past this, but he’s beginning to lose hope … [Many] people are worried about him … I’ve never seen him like this.”

Smooth Vs. Smooth Criminal: Two Pop Giants Battle Over Venue

admin-rs-post-main

When the reigning “King of Pop” announced his comeback to music earlier this week, specifying 10 tour dates in London’s 02 arena,  he probably didn’t expect to battle for the lime light.

But due to a scheduling mix up with R & B singer Ne-Yo– who has been helping Jackson with his new album–the two pop stars remain slated for the same time, same place.

To make the story all the more interesting, Ne-Yo’s camp doesn’t plan on budging.  ”There is currently no change whatsoever to Ne-Yo’s performance at the O2 arena in July … the show is going on as planned.”

TMZ reports that Michael’s tickets will go on sale for the public on March 13 at a mildly affordable $70-105–if the two pop giants figure out a compromise by then.  Depending on demand, TMZ says, Jackson could end up performing twenty times.

Translation:  Ne-Yo should expect to hold his concert sometime in September.

The King of Pop To Make Mystery Announcement In London

michael-jackson1Pop star Michael Jackson has been the subject of recent rumors about his health, and lifestyle however his fans have clung to the hope of a long awaited comeback, which may soon take place.

As reported by London’s CNN, the pop star has scheduled a news conference Thursday at London’s O2 arena. Although the short statement announcing Jackson’s news conference did not reveal many details, Britain’s Sky News reported that the 50-year-old King of Pop has agreed to a series of summer concerts at the O2.

Rumors have circulated for years about a possible Jackson concert comeback but were overshadowed by the swarm of negative press the troubled star receives.

Since the 1990′s, negative news coverage of the King of Pop have bombarded the media about his eccentric lifestyle. This announcement serves as a glimmer of hope for the positive side of the star we all remember during the peak of his success.

In June of 2005, a Santa Barbara County jury found him not guilty of child molestation charges. Since then Jackson’s reclusive way of life and a photo last year of him being pushed in a wheelchair, created ample ground for health rumors.

Best-selling author Ian Halperin completed an unauthorized biography of Jackson’s life, in which he claims the pop icon, suffers from Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, a potentially fatal genetic illness, as well as emphysema and gastrointestinal bleeding. Halperin also claims that the “Thriller” and “Bad” singer can barely speak and is 95-percent blind in his left eye.

In December of last year, Dr. Tohme, spokesperson for the star, released a statement denying as a “total fabrication” a report claiming that the former King of Pop needs a lung transplant due the rare respiratory disease.

“The writer’s wild allegations concerning Mr. Jackson’s health are a total fabrication,” the statement said. “Mr. Jackson is in fine health and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company and television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances.”

Although there is a great deal of speculation about his health, life choices and behavior, one thing is certain – Michael Jackson is one of the best-selling artists of all time and much anticipation brews as the announcement grows closer.

Rumors: Jay-Z Allegedly Issues Threat to Chris Brown

Rapper Jay-Z & Singer Chris Brown at the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards - 2/10/08 Photo by Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

Various internet websites are reporting that Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is furious with Chris Brown, over his alleged assault of long-time girlfriend Rhianna. Jay was said to have “hit the roof” up hearing of the assualt  and has said to have issued a direct “quote” that, “Chris is a dead man walking.” Jay-Z is said to consider Rhianna like his” little sister.”

We would like to remind our readers that this is purely speculation as we are working to confirm reports with Jay-Z’s camp. We would like to remind you that it does not seem to be real or true knowing Jay-Z’s cool demeanor, it does not seem like he would expose himself to such stupidity especially knowing the legal implications.

Again we are working to confirm this rumor but as of now it should be taken as such… a rumor.

Plant, Krauss win big; Jennifer Hudson has emotional night at 09 Grammys

By Associated Press

kraussplant1

LOS ANGELES – Robert Plant and Alison Krauss‘ unorthodox partnership yielded rich rewards on Grammy night, as the pair nabbed five Grammys for their haunting CD “Raising Sand,” including record and album of the year honors.

But their Grammy sweep was overshadowed by the shocking arrest of another nominee as the broadcast was taking place — teen heartthrob Chris Brown , who was in police custody for an alleged felony assault on an unidentified woman the night before. Police records showed he was being held on $50,000 bail.

Brown and longtime girlfriend Rihanna , also nominated, were both slated to perform in different slots of the show, but separately dropped out at the last minute. The victim of Brown’s alleged assault wasn’t identified, and it wasn’t immediately clear whether Rihanna ‘s absence was related to Brown’s.

The pairing of the former Led Zeppelin rocker and Krauss, a bluegrass queen, may have seemed downright weird on paper, but the T Bone Burnett-produced album was universally acclaimed and highlighted Krauss’ unique talent of mastering different musical styles. Subdued but emotionally stirring, “Raising Sand” was an artistic triumph for both artists, and perhaps demonstrated why Krauss is the most decorated female artist in Grammy history.

Lil Wayne entered the evening with the most nominations with eight, and ended the night with four, including rap album of the year.

But it was Jennifer Hudson who provided the night’s most emotional moments onstage. The Oscar winner took her first Grammy award — for best R&B album — for her self-titled debut.

Hudson, 27, made no direct reference to the October killings of her mother, brother and nephew that kept her in seclusion until just this month. But while fighting back tears, she made it clear that her family was foremost on her mind.

“I first would like to thank God who has brought me through. I would like to thank my family in heaven and those who are with me today.

Hudson later performed “You Pulled Me Through,” a dramatic song about overcoming deep despair, with the lyrics: “When I was drowning, when I was so confused, you, you pulled me through.” As she sang the last note, she looked directly into the camera and dissolved into tears once again.

There were no tears as Krauss and Plant accepted their awards for their emotion-rich CD, “Raising Sand.”

Plant said “Please Read The Letter” was “an old song that me and Jimmy Page wrote together post Led Zeppelin, and it’s been given that Nashville touch, and it feels pretty good.”

The pair had already won a Grammy last year for “Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)” from the same album, bringing their total “Raising Sand” haul to six.

The Grammy telecast was filled with eye-popping and eyebrow-raising performances, from Radiohead‘s collaboration with a college marching band to a televised black-and-white throwback performance from Jay-Z , T.I., Lil Wayne , Kanye West and a (very) pregnant M.I.A.

But the absences of Brown and Rihanna put a huge hole in the Grammy telecast. Rihanna was supposed to sing “Live Your Life/Disturbia” as the second performance of the night, Brown was later to sing “Forever.” Each was nominated in the pop collaboration with vocals category, Brown for “No Air” with “American Idol” champion Jordin Sparks ; and Rihanna for “If I Never See Your Face Again” with Maroon 5.

Brown was also nominated for male R&B vocal performance for “Take You Down.”

Neither won a Grammy on Sunday, and the Recording Academy found able replacements for their performance slots in Justin Timberlake , Al Green, Boyz II Men and Keith Urban as they all sang Green’s classic hit, “Let’s Stay Together.” No mention was made on the broadcast about the switch.

According to the police report, released 90 minutes before the show began Sunday, Brown and a woman were in a vehicle in the ritzy neighborhood of Hancock Park when they began to argue around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Brown stopped the car and both got out, whereupon the argument escalated, the report said.

The woman, who had visible injuries when police arrived, identified Brown as her attacker, but he had left the scene, the report said. Los Angeles police officer Karen Smith says Brown walked into a station around 7 p.m. and was being interviewed by detectives.

With all the drama going on onstage and behind the scenes, the awards seemed almost like an afterthought — but the show went on. Lil Wayne won the first Grammys of his career for “Tha Carter III,” which took the 26-year-old rap veteran to from rap to pop MVP. Coldplay won three, included song of the year for “Viva La Vida.”

“We’ve never had so many Grammys in our life,” said lead singer Chris Martin , perhaps so excited he got confused (they had already won four over the years). “We feel so grateful to be here. I’m going to tear up.”

British singer Adele was also teary, as she beat the Jonas Brothers, Lady Antebellum, Jazmine Sullivan and fellow Brit singer Duffy to nab best new artist. It was her second award of the evening.

“Thank you so much. I’m going to cry. I want to thank my manager, my mom, she’s in London. And Duffy I love you. I think you’re amazing. Jonas Brothers, I love you as well,” she said, saying the last part with a devilish look, eliciting laughter.

It was Adele ‘s second award; she earlier won for best female pop vocal.

Lil Wayne was the nominations leader with eight, and won best rap solo performance for “A Milli,” rap song for “Lollipop” and rap/sung collaboration for “Swagga Like Us,” an all-star song featuring Jay-Z , T.I. and Kanye West .

But the prolific rapper won’t be going home with eight trophies; he was competing against himself in two categories that he won and lost another. He still has a chance to win the evening’s top prize, album of the year, for his best-selling disc “Tha Carter III.”

“WE ARE ONE!” Inaugural Ceremony Opens @ National Mall

Thousands gathered Sunday afternoon on the National Mall in Washington for a free inaugural concert boasting big stars.

A concert is under way on the National Mall in Washington, marking the start of four days of inaugural celebrations.
The crowd gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial erupted in cheers when President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, arrived, walking down the steps of the memorial.

Performers including U2, Beyonce and Bruce Springsteen are on the bill. Obama is expected to offer welcoming remarks.

The crowd, expected to reach perhaps a half-million, gathered in temperatures above the freezing mark. It was a welcome relief from the frigid weather that had gripped the nation’s capital.

The spectators filled the area in front of the Lincoln Memorial, and extended along the mall on both sides of the reflecting pool.

Obama spent the morning visiting Arlington National Cemetery and was attending the “We are One: Opening Inaugural Celebration” at the Lincoln Memorial, Sunday afternoon.

Bruce Springsteen opened the concert with The Rising, singing, “How far I’ve gone/How high I’ve climbed/On my back’s a 60 pound stone/On my shoulder a half mile line.”

Comedians and actors Steve Carell and Jamie Foxx hit the stage. Foxx, always the showman, urged “Chi-town” to “stand up!”

Joined by his wife Michelle and their children, the President-elect stood up, laughing and clapping.

Foxx did an impression of Obama’s speech election night, as Obama laughed.

Beyonce, Sheryl Crow, John Legend, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, U2, will.i.am and Stevie Wonder and Hollywood heavy-hitters such as Tom Hanks will take the stage.

The celebration caps Obama’s shortened version of President Abraham Lincoln’s 1861 rail trip to Washington. Obama will be inaugurated as the 44th president in Washington on Tuesday. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where the 137-mile trip began, Obama alluded to the president who inspired his train journey.

Hollywood’s Top $$$ making Couples. Guess who’s #1!

Forbe's new Top earning couple "You ready B?"

"You ready B?" Jay-Z & Beyonce are Forbes.com's new Hollywood top earning couple.

It appears that forbes.com has just released its Hollywood Top earning couples and you wont believe who’s topping the list.

What happens when you marry an $82 million hip-hop brand and an $80 million R&B empire? You get Hollywood’s best-paid power couple.

Thanks to a monster year filled with music, movies, fashion and endorsement deals, Jay-Z and his beau, Beyonce Knowles, collectively raked in $162 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008. The jaw-dropping sum garners them bragging rights atop our first annual ranking of Hollywood’s Top-Earning Couples, a list that also includes A-list pairings Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, David and Victoria Beckham, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, among others.

“Naturally, powerful people tend to gravitate toward other powerful people,” explains clinical psychologist and celebrity researcher Jim Houran, for reasons that range from proximity (stars hang around other stars) to familiarity (people are attracted, at least initially, to others like them) to clearer expectations (shared priorities make it easier for celebrities to relate). No matter how they get together, the results are good for the bottom line.

Take Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. They hauled in some $85 million over the past year, making them No. 2 on our list. Though Jada’s resume continues to grow, Will’s the family breadwinner. He amassed  $80 million in the year ending June 2008, thanks to another set of top-performing blockbusters: “I Am Legend,” “The Pursuit of Happyness,” and this past summer’s “Hancock.” Together the flicks banked $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office, making him Hollywood’s most bankable star.

Jada pulled in $5 million during the same 12-month period, thanks to roles as an actress (“The Women”), producer (“The Human Contract”), and businesswoman (a stake in beauty line Carol’s Daughter).

Third: David and Victoria Beckham. Conquering fans on both sides of the Atlantic, the power couple brought in $58 million over the year-long period.

Becks’ share was $50 million, proving the much-covered move to America has paid off for the British soccer star. Though his Los Angeles Galaxy salary was $5.5 million, the sum more than doubled when his cut of the team’s ticket, merchandise, and sponsorship revenues were factored in. He also pulled down a cool $35 million from lucrative endorsement deals with Motorola, Adidas, Coty and PepsiCo, among others.

His wife, better known by her pop-star moniker, Posh, generated another $8 million, thanks to her cut of a $23 million Spice Girls reunion tour and a slew of product lines, including sunglasses, perfume, couture clothing, and her DVB jeans line.

Not far behind are country sweethearts Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who collectively brought in $35 million over the course of the year.

In addition to the big loot they made on their Soul-2-Soul concert tour, he earned millions from festivals and a double-platinum album, Let It Go. Hill recorded another album, The Hits, and the NFL Sunday Night Football theme song. Every time NBC plays the catchy tune, Hill sees a check.

Live-in lovers and tabloid staples Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who banked $34 million together, round out the top five.

Along with globe-trotting and parenting six, Jolie appeared on screen in the films “Beowulf” and “A Mighty Heart.” During the same period, Pitt spent time both in front of the camera (“Oceans 13,” “The Assassination of Jesse James”) and behind it (“The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” “A Mighty Heart,” and “Tree of Life”).

Sit down Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye and T.I. Will the real "best rapper alive" please stand up?

Sit down Lil’ Wayne, Jay-Z and T.I. Will the real “best rapper alive” please stand up?

VIBE has today announced Eminem as the winner of the Best Rapper Alive competition. The Detroit native beat out New York’s rap king Jay-Z in the Final Round with 69 percent of the votes, crowning him as the people’s choice for the true king of hip hop. The results of the contest are detailed in VIBE’s November 2008 issue hitting newsstands October 21st.

According to MTV,

In a contest on the magazine’s Web site 64 of today’s top rappers — from MTV News’ reigning Hottest MC in the Game Kanye West, Rick Ross,Nas, T.I.— were given brackets, similar to NCAA basketball teams during March Madness. Fans began voting on head-to-head matchups in July, with MCs gradually being eliminated until Marshall Mathers was tapped as the ultimate victor this month, beating out Brooklyn lyric guru . Slim Shady received 69 percent of the votes in the finals. The magazine said more than 920,000 votes were cast.

More than 920,000 votes were cast since the contest began on July 21, 2008. I wonder who these 920,000 people are. When is the last time we have heard something from Eminem?
